First, I'll say this: sippy cups are a pain! I hate all the separate parts. Plus, lately, Jordyn has been chomping on the plastic spout like a baby beaver.
So, imagine my joy at the thought of a cup made just for little hands and mouths with no plastic spout! And no valve to get lost in the dishwasher. Can it be true?! Yep! Enter the Kids Cup.
The EIO Kids Cup was designed by a mama (Kathy) who was fed up with the typical sippy cup. She wanted something that was simple, healthy, economical, and empowering for her kids (sounds good to me)! It's basically an 8-oz canning jar with a silicone sleeve and a plastic lid. It's free of BPA, Phthalates and PVC (as well as valves and spouts).
I love that the cup is sturdy, practical, and easy to use. It can be washed in the dishwasher, and you don't even have to remove the silicone sleeve (EIO recommends washing the cap by hand and removing the sleeve for the first wash, though). There are no small valves or pieces for old milk or juice to get caught in.
Jordyn loves the color and the fact that she can hold it and use it all by herself!
All-in-all, it's a win-win, folks. Would you like to try it for yourself? Cheri at For Your Bugaboo has offered one of you your very own EIO Kids Cup (you choose your color).
